DIVERSITY AND EXECUTIVE COACHING

One-on-one personal coaching provides quality training and development, specifically tailor-made to the particular requirements of the client, without the costs and time commitment of open programmes or in-house activities. Because the material and programme is personally designed around the learning requirements of the delegate, this approach not only delivers high performance training, it motivates the delegate into swiftly putting the training into action.  It's fast, it's effective and it provides training and development that really works!

Many senior managers will have attended awareness raising workshops in the areas of equality and diversity. However, they might not be aware of the critical importance of their own behaviour and the powerful impact of their role modelling. They might also have felt inhibited, in a training programme, of admitting to difficulties they faced personally in taking some of these issues on board. The coaching programme is a safe environment to concentrate on the acquisition of new skills in this area so that their leadership role in implementing any diversity initiative can be effective.

Coaching methodology

Our approach to coaching is that of an informed discussion, working towards agreed objectives, on a series of specified and work related topics, with measurable standards of assessment.

We aim for an informal and relaxed, but appropriately work-like environment, either at the client's premises or at a neutral location. The consultant will be constantly working to assist the delegate review his/her behaviour and compare it with other approaches which would enhance the achievement of his/her performance.

The consultant will be working to a previously agreed programme, and his/her role is that of a facilitator rather than a trainer, with the focus on encouraging the delegate to think through the impact of his/her behaviour, identify the origins of such behaviour, and initiate and support plans for change.

George Coyle, Domino's Co-Director, is the lead consultant on this initiative and he would be delighted to talk to you about it.
